Mary Buczko, 87, of Janesville, WI went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 9, 2011. The former Mary Dymtruk was born in Poland on February 17, 1923. She grew up in the Ukraine and married Mykola “Nick” Buczko on April 4, 1944. They immigrated to the United States with their family in 1950 under sponsorship of MacFarlane Pheasant Farm and the First Baptist Church. In addition to being a homemaker and assisting her husband with farming, Mary worked for a time at Cedar Crest and the Alpine restaurant. She was a member of New Life Assembly of God.

Surviving are 3 children, Irene (Donald ) Stewart, Vicki Clark and Alexander Buczko all of Janesville, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Buczko was preceded in death by her husband, Nick on June 3, 1990. Also preceding her in death are 1 daughter, Nina Scalissi, her parents and brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 13, 2011 at New Life Assembly of God, 2416 N. Wright Rd., Janesville with Pastor Michael Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Visitation will be at New Life Assembly of God from 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of services.
